![]() Making the Band: A Rock and Roll Camp June 26 – July 1 Two session options:
Location: The Warehouse at E-Street (2113 Columbia Park Rd, Edgewood, MD 21040) Get ready to rock and roll this summer with our exciting half-day camp for kids! With a focus on musical theatre, this workshop is perfect for kids who love to sing, dance, and express themselves creatively. Your child will have a blast singing and dancing to classic rock and roll songs like We Got the Beat, Twist and Shout, Stand By Me, Your Song, and Livin’ on a Prayer. Our experienced instructors will guide your child through fun-filled week of theatre, theatre games and engaging crafts that will encourage their imagination and creativity. And at the end of the camp, your child will have the opportunity to showcase their talents in a special performance for parents on Saturday. It’s the perfect way to end the week and celebrate all the hard work and fun they’ve had. And that’s not all! With each registration, your child will receive a T-shirt, crafts, and a souvenir script to remember their amazing experience. Our camp is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all children, regardless of their experience level, so everyone can join in the fun. Our comprehensive theatre tech program will cover everything from sound to lights to sets and beyond. As a participant, you’ll have the opportunity to assist us in running the tech for our upcoming Junior production of Making the Band. This is the perfect chance to learn the ins and outs of tech without missing out on the excitement of being involved in a production. We all know that no matter how talented the performers are, the success of the show ultimately relies on the tech crew. That’s why this program is such a valuable opportunity – you’ll learn the skills needed to run a seamless show, from start to finish. Tuition includes a non-refundable $20 Administrative fee. Cancellations must be 15 days before class starts. Full tuition will be refunded in case of cancellation due to insufficient enrollment.
